SOLO ACOUSTIC COVER GIGS

Colin's set list is large; over 450 songs and ever growing.  It spans many genres and decades.  Every song he plays is filtered through his insightful musical perception, and comes out sounding like something unmistakably of his own mind.  You will enjoy listening to him decorate each song with improvised creations of his agile, impactful voice and subtle guitar intricacies.  When asked about what you can expect from one of his cover performances, he said, “My take on covers is that they should be close enough to the original where people recognize the song, but different enough to where the audience is drawn in and pleasantly surprised by hearing their favorite songs rethought. On top of that, I love to improvise, so no song ever sounds the same twice, and I feel that is what creates so much excitement in my performance.”
